Beginning in January of 2015, I will be finishing up my 20th year serving at Berea. During those years I have worn many "hats" and been involved in a wide variety of minitries, and I became the preaching minister in early 2007.
I graduated from Johnson University (formerly Johnson Bible College) in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Bible and Preaching. Following graduation, I accepted a ministry with a small church in Tennessee and enjoyed my early years of ministry focused on preaching. For many years following that first ministry, my service was focused on the areas of youth, children and music.
I am blessed to have a church family that accepts me, allows me to serve, and encourages me each and every week. I have also been blessed with a wife who is my partner in ministry. She not only allows me to answer this call, but serves beside me and sometimes gets me moving when I need to be motivated!
God has been faithfuI to Berea for over 150+ years, and I look forward to discovering what the Lord has in store for this body of believers in the years to come.
